What does Merge PDF do?
Merge PDF joins several PDF files into a single document, page for page, in the order you choose. Useful for combining scanned pages, invoices or chapters before you email or upload them.
What you can use
Two or more PDF files.
How to use Merge PDF
- Step 1
Add your PDFs — pick several at once or add them one by one.
- Step 2
Check the order — files are joined in the order they are listed.
- Step 3
Press Merge and download merged.pdf.
Good to know
- Pages keep their original size and orientation, so a landscape page stays landscape.
- Password-protected PDFs can’t be read until you remove the password.
- The merged file is roughly the sum of the originals. Run it through Compress PDF afterwards if it’s too big to email.
Your privacy
Your file is opened and processed by your own browser — it is never uploaded. That also means big files use your device’s memory, so very large files can be slow on older phones.

All guidesFrequently asked questions
Is Merge PDF free?
Yes. Merge PDF is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
Is it safe to use with contracts or ID documents?
Yes. Your PDF is opened and processed by your browser on your own device and is never uploaded, so nobody else sees it. Close the tab when you’re done and nothing is left behind.
Is there a limit on file size or number of pages?
There is no fixed limit. Because the work happens on your device, files of a few hundred pages are fine on a computer; on an older phone, very large PDFs may be slow or run out of memory.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in Chrome, Safari and other modern browsers on Android and iPhone — pick files from your gallery or Files app. Large videos and long PDFs are faster on a computer.
